VBN Editorial Office

The purpose of the Research Database of Aalborg University (VBN) is to render research activities visible and to make published research available to the public, and to create a basis for the establishment of contact and co-operation between interested external parties and the respective research environments. The research database is publicly available and provides knowledge for the benefit of local businesses and research activities. It conveys research from Aalborg University to society and the individual citizen in general.

The system registers publications, research projects, research activities and press cuttings. The registered material is linked to the individual researcher, as well as to the university's organisational units.

VBN serves as the university's full text archive, or Institutional Repository. The intention is to make research from Aalborg University available through as many full text publications as possible.

Publications that are not available in full text through VBN can be requested from the department or from the individual researcher.
